Considered one of the most fascinating libraries in Canada, the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library holds the largest repository of publicly accessible rare books and manuscripts in the country, such as Margaret Atwood's original handwritten draft for The Handmaid's Tale. While no visitors are allowed to access the stacks, anyone may request to view and handle library books (must submit a request through which also grants you access to the reading rooms on the lower level.
