ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPE, AND DESIGN

The new library of the Daniels Faculty opened at One Spadina in 2017. On the first floor is a reading room and various study spaces and, on the lower floor, the stacks and a study room can be found. Visiting it, you will understand why this is an award-winning library: merging perflectly the heritage building with contemporary additions and modern concrete. "With a mix of exposed brickwork, wooden floors, tall windows, and an urban rawness to it, the library offers a bright and relaxed workspace with a view to the CN Tower" (Yursa, 2017).
